my intentions for this work:
for this assignment, I wanted to explore the theme I love most in photography: lively facial expressions. sticking to COVID-19 guidelines, I shot this series indoors with my brother. *since I had no more at my disposal than the two sconces in the bathroom and no flash to add to my 35mm camera, this series came out a little underexposed (overly pink & turquoise). I attempted to rectify this as much as possible in Lightroom by bringing the highlight & shadow colours closer to their opposites.
so here is the finished series! eight photos made up of different facial expressions, moods + a few extra special theatrical ones.
